Before you drive

Rental agreement overview

The signed agreement is the binding record of each rental. Review it before accepting the vehicle and keep a copy for the rental period.

Booking details

Customer and authorized-driver details; vehicle identification; handover and return date, time and location; rental rate; VAT; payment status; and security requirement.

Included usage

Permitted territory, mileage allowance, excess-kilometre rate, fuel-return level, included accessories, delivery arrangements and any approved additional drivers.

Protection and responsibility

Insurance type, customer excess, exclusions, accident reporting, roadside procedure and responsibility for tyres, wheels, glass, keys, interior damage or misuse where applicable.

Additional charges

Salik, parking, fines, fuel differences, late return, additional mileage, excessive cleaning, smoking, missing items, recovery and authority or administration charges where applicable and lawful.

Vehicle condition

Inspect the vehicle at handover. The condition report should record existing marks, fuel, mileage and supplied accessories. Photos or video taken by both parties can support an accurate return inspection.

Return and security release

The return inspection records mileage, fuel, condition and outstanding items. Security is released or settled according to the signed agreement after known rental charges are resolved, subject to later authority-issued tolls or fines where the agreement permits.
